Teal Horse Pull Along Toy by Wlodzimierz

Beautiful pull along wooden horse. Hand carved in wood, then hand painted by a folk artist Wlodzimierz. 

Wooden toys have been made and loved for centuries across the globe. Birds, horses, cars, spinning dancers, just to name a few, have a long tradition in folk culture in Poland. Simple and beautiful, they were hand carved in local wood using traditional tools, then hand painted in bright colours and decorated with folk ornaments. Luckily, this craft has been passed through generations so we can enjoy these lovely wooden toys nowadays!

Wlodzimierz has been making wooden folk wooden toys for over 30 years. He learnt it from his father and it's amazing he continues this tradition. Each of his horses has a unique look. We love his colourful folk painted decorations.

Comes with a natural jute twine attached.

Unique and timeless, it's the toy to keep for next generations. It will also look wonderful displayed as a collectable object.
