Goose Pisanka Easter Egg by Barbara

"Pisanki" are colourful hand painted eggs made especially for Easter in Poland.

These pisanki were made in a "batik" technique - drawing on an eggshell with a natural beeswax and then dipping them into dyes.

Each Basia's pisanka is beautiful and unique. She decorates them with various scenes like flying storks, woman carrying an Easter basket with pisanki, dancing couple as well as traditional geometrical motifs.
