Girls Hand Embroidered Cushion by Folka x Plinth Home

Inspired by traditional Polish paper cuts, together with Plinth Home we designed hand embroidered cushions. Each cushion is hand embroidered using Choose between Doves, Couple, Girls or a Floral one.

Plinth Home is a homeware studio founded by sisters Sue and Allie Huey based in Brighton. They are known known for theirs minimalist hand-stitched embroidered cushions. They use single lines of chain stitch to create abstract shapes and more densely stitched areas of colour blocking.

The idea behind our collaboration was to present old, traditional Polish paper cuts found in museums or books in a new, minimalistic way.
