Wooden Wolf by Wiesia

Look at this lovely wolves family. Each one is hand carved and hand painted by Wiesia. We love her delicate brush strokes and wolves blue eyes!

Wooden toys have been made and loved for centuries across the globe. Birds, horses, cars, spinning dancers, just to name a few, have a long tradition in folk culture in Poland. Simple and beautiful, they were hand carved in local wood using traditional tools, then hand painted in bright colours and decorated with folk ornaments. Luckily, this craft has been passed through generations so we can enjoy these lovely wooden animals nowadays!

Each wolf is unique and precious. Not only for kids. Looks very good on a adult’s desk as well.
