Chicken Push In Toy by Ryszard

Beautiful wooden moving toy. If you take it for a walk and push along, this lovely chicken will start eating grains. Hand carved in wood, then hand painted by a folk artist Ryszard. We love  his unique painting style and colours! 

Unique and timeless, it's the toy to keep for next generations. It will also look wonderful displayed as a collectable object. 

Wooden toys have been made and loved for centuries across the globe. Birds, horses, cars, spinning dancers, just to name a few, have a long tradition in folk culture in Poland. Simple and beautiful, they were hand carved in local wood using traditional tools, then hand painted in bright colours and decorated with folk ornaments. Luckily, this craft has been passed through generations so we can enjoy these lovely wooden toys nowadays!
