Wafer Geometric Ornament in White

Folka is excited to present this unique collection of traditional ornaments handcrafted from wafer.

"Świat" (world) is a traditional folk Polish decoration made from wafer. They used to be made for Christmas and the New Year. Attached to the ceiling in a cottage, they would scare away bad demons and bring good luck - as people believed. Also, they were a symbol of a world being reborn. 

This simple white wafer ornament is just stunning.
