New York Advent Calendar by Nick Sellek

We love this contemporary Advent Calendar with all the traditional magic of Christmas.

The main picture is a collection of photographs taken by Nick in New York City. On the outside, it appears to be a silent, snowy Manhattan December day with the snow covered fire escapes and towering highrise blocks, but as you start to open the windows, and open the fecades, the magic of Christmas grows, with glowing interiors and advent calendar traditions.

Lightly dusted with glitter, mounted on card, measuring 41cm x 29.5cm, it comes in a cellophane bag and with an envelope.

Nick Sellek is a freelance artist and model-maker living in London.

His Advent Calendars and Christmas cards were developed over a few years from Nick's love of Christmas. Both contemporary and traditional, they combine stark cityscapes, architecture and interiors with the magical warmth of Christmas.
